
Dr. Scott Wentz is a board-certified cataract and refractive surgeon. He specializes in advanced custom cataract, LASIK, and laser-based eye surgeries.
Prior to joining 20/20 Eye Physicians of Indiana in 2019, Dr. Wentz received his Bachelor of Science in chemistry from Butler University, Cum Laude. He then received his medical degree with the highest distinction from Indiana University School of Medicine, where he was a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. His post-graduate training included Methodist Hospital transitional year Chief Resident and residency training at Indiana University Medical Center.
Dr. Wentz is a member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Indiana Academy of Ophthalmology, and is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He has multiple publications and presentations as well as clinical research experience.
In addition to his practice duties, Dr. Wentz holds appointments at St. Vincent Hospital, Naab Road Surgery Center, and Eagle Highland surgery center. He also staffs resident surgery at the VA hospital.
Outside of ophthalmology, Dr. Wentz enjoys spending time with family and friends, cycling, hiking, cooking, renovating his home, photography, and traveling.
