Dr. Amelia Huang, pronounced “Wong”, is a board-certified cataract and refractive surgeon. She specializes in advanced custom cataract, LASIK, and laser-based eye surgeries.
Prior to joining 20/20 Eye Physicians of Indiana in 2021, Dr. Huang graduated from St. Louis University, Summa Cum Laude, with her Bachelors in Occupational Science. She attended Indiana University School of Medicine, interned at St. Vincent Hospital, and completed her Ophthalmology residency at Indiana University where she was chief resident.
Dr. Huang is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology, the American Medical Women Association, the American Medical Association, and and is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. She has multiple publications and presentations as well as clinical research experience.
In addition to practice duties, Dr. Huang holds appointments at St. Vincent Hospital, Naab Road Surgery Center and Eagle Highland surgery center.
Outside of ophthalmology, Dr. Huang enjoys spending time with family and friends, running, and traveling. Some of her favorite destinations include Spain and Italy!
